Escapism not escapology – that’s very different
National Fun at Work Day!
There’s many many ways you could make your work fun, whether it’s written work/working from home or a busy social environment. Play little games with yourself or other colleagues that amuse you. Encourage ideas that will brighten your colleagues’ day and bring smiles to their faces. Examples of games include trying to say a certain word in a conversation or having a workplace competition with each other, playing for rewards.
National Draw a Dinosaur Day!
Exactly what it says in purple. (usually people would say in black and white) Draw whichever dinosaur you want! This National day was created in 2007 when a bored student was doodling dinos, realised how good he was at art and encouraged his classmates to do the same and draw a dinosaur and the rest as they say is history!
National Escape Day!
Escape into art, music and media to give yourself a few moments of calm. If you’re also away on holiday having a real magical escape, all the better for you! Don’t forget you could try an escape room though if you haven’t been to one before, they’re not quite the spa escape you might suspect.
